Weekly Camp Themes

Each week is something new and exciting at camp! We’re busy behind the scenes cooking up an unforgettable lineup: think epic games, creative chaos, outdoor adventures, and memory-making moments your kids will be talking about all year long!

Week 1 (July 6 - 10) - Jurassic Park

Step into a world of prehistoric adventure at our Jurassic Park, where young explorers become junior paleontologists, dinosaur trainers, and park rangers!

Campers will spend their days uncovering fossils and learning about real dinosaurs through hands-on science activities.

Week 2 (July 13 - 17) - Superhero Academy

Get ready for an action-packed week where every child becomes a hero! At Superhero Academy, kids will unleash their imagination, discover their unique “superpowers,” and embark on exciting daily missions.

Week 2: Specialty Camp (July 13 - 17) - Cooking Camp

This camp fills up fast!  Join us for a full week in the kitchen with local chef John O'Leary.

Sports Mania is an energetic, multi-sport program designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun throughout the week.

Week 4 (July 27-31) - Ooey Gooey

Get ready for a gross week of camp, where science gets messy, slimy, and totally fun! Ooey Gooey Camp turns the icky side of science into an awesome summer experience!

Week 5 (August 4 - 7) - Amazing Race

Get ready for a fast-paced, action-packed day at our Amazing Race Camp! Campers will team up to travel through a series of exciting challenges, solving clues, completing physical activities, and working together to “race” their way to the finish line.

Week 7 (August 17 - 21) - Inventors Week

Unleash creativity and curiosity at Inventors Camp—a hands-on, high-energy experience where young minds turn ideas into reality

Get ready for a vibrant adventure at our Colour Camp! Each day is dedicated to different colours, bringing exciting activities, creative crafts, games, and challenges that spark imagination and fun.

Camp Dates

Summer camp runs Monday to Friday from July 6 - September 4, 2026.

Camper Age

Camp is great for children ages 4 - 10 years old.

Cost

Camp costs $175 weekly and is offered at a daily rate of $42 per day at the Baltimore Recreation Centre.

Camp Times

Hours: 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Extended care is available as early as 7:30 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. for no additional cost!

Camp Locations

Camp runs out of the Baltimore Recreation Centre with select weeks available at the Bewdley Community Centre.

Drop off and pick up will be at the location for which you register.

How to Prepare for Camp

Below you'll find everything you need to know about what to pack, how medications are handled, drop-off and pick-up procedures, and before and after care options to help your camp experience run smoothly.

To help ensure nothing is misplaced or left behind, we recommend labelling all personal belongings.

Please make sure your child brings the following items to camp each day:

  • Nut-free lunch and snacks for both morning and afternoon. We encourage the use of reusable containers and waste-free packaging.
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Bathing suit and towel
  • Hat and sunscreen
  • Indoor shoes (weather permitting)
  • Backpack to carry all items

To keep our camp environment safe, focused, and inclusive, we kindly ask that the following items not be brought to camp:

  • Electronic devices (e.g., phones or tablets)
  • Toys
  • Cameras
  • Money
  • Personal or sentimental items that may be easily lost or damaged

Thank you for your support in helping us create a fun and organized camp experience for everyone!

A detailed form will be sent to parents/guardians the week before camp to collect information about any medications your child may need. This helps ensure we have the necessary details to support a safe and healthy week for your camper.

Your child's safety is our number one priority when you drop them off to camp each day.  Each day you will see the following:

Sign in:

  • One dedicated staff member will check in all campers.
  • Once sign in is complete, if your camper has not arrived, you will promptly receive a phone call for confirmation. 

Sign out:

  • One dedicated staff member will be check all campers out for the day.
  • We require all parents or guardians to have a government issued I.D.
  • Only those listed on our pick up forms will be permitted to pick up campers.

Before and after care is available every day during the summer camp season for no additional cost! To register, please complete and submit the before and after care form included with your camper information package.

Please note: We are unable to accept same-day registrations for before and after care due to staffing requirements. Thank you for your understanding!

A Photo Release Consent form is included in all camp registration packages. This form provides permission for the Township to take and use photos or videos of campers for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media channels, and print materials. Participation is completely optional, and families can indicate their preferences when completing the form.
